Title: Home made gluten-free ideas and swaps for the whole family (drop that gluten-free bread or eat as little as possible)
Description: The first thing Katerina tried when she started eating gluten-free was the bread you can find on the Free From aisle. The disappointment and confusion she felt about it together with all the disappointing textures in other baked goods like biscuits and crackers was certainly the inspiration to start her own Food business. Crackers, pancakes and crepes are the recipes she uses more often and mastering them took a fair amount of practice.
About: Katerina studied Chemistry in Greece, specialising in Food Chemistry. In 2015 she started a home baking business in the UK. Her products were gluten free pies, cakes, biscuits and crackers which she sold in local health shops and markets. In the meantime her daughter Niki was born and we moved with my husband to Ireland (March 2017). After this short break she really wanted to get back in the kitchen and create something different, interesting, gluten free and healthy: A cracker for every moment of the day! It was very important for her to use her favourite ingredient in the world, so she brought her extra virgin olive oil from Crete(Greece) where she come from. This Cretan olive oil is travelling all the way from Greece to Cork where their flaxseed rounds are prepared with care in a dedicated gluten free facility.
